Here is a favorite recipe of ours using our locally famous Chili Fish Sauce. It can turn any cut of fish you like and give it an Asian inspired twist!
- Asian chive
- Zander’s House ready-prepared fish sauce
- Frying oil
Step 1: Wash chives and shake off all excess water, then cut chives into small pieces. Place chives into a ceramic or metal bowl.
Step 2: Bring 1.5 cups of frying oil to a boil then immediately pour oil onto chives and mix well until chives are fully cooked. Let it cool off for 15 minutes
Step 3: Add ready-prepared fish sauce to step 2 and stir.
Step 1: Clean fish and pat dry then place in a colander
Step 2: cover fish with paper towel and place it in the refrigerator for 15 minutes
Step 3: add frying oil in to a pot and bring it to boiling point, make sure oil can fully cover fish
Step 4: remove fish from refrigerator and fry until golden brown, then place it on a paper towel to remove excess oil
Step 5: pour chili chive fish sauce over fish and enjoy
